The town of Glendora has a small village that mom's dubbed "Gum Drop Valley" for the shape of its trees. She and I set out to to check out the village's annual chalk festival where people of all ages share their artistic talents and compete for cash prizes. We arrived after the festival completed and the crowds and sun both died down. Mom says that by the end of our stroll, I may as well have been a chalk art myself since I got some on me.
I can't help that I'm a colorful character!
