Halms (short for 'halmoni' which means 'grandma' in Korean) came to visit. It was her first visit to California, and our first visitor since arriving here. Together, we showed her some of our favorite places including hiking trails, beaches, a farmer's market as well as discovered a couple new spots.
We enjoyed a week of mainly sunshine and warm temps as well as a day of thunderstorm and rain. To mention only a few activities...they rode an electric scooter for the first time, played a giant game of Connect4, visited Huntington Library, hiked a couple local trails, and Halms got a happy ending to her search for a souvenir pin.
Overall, it was a wonderful visit. Come again Halms.
