RIP Joshua

May 2006 - June 2020

Joshua Kwonski

Photo Opportunist, Foodie, Baby Fox Impersonator, Stick Connoisseur, Mouse Hunter, Amateur Blogger.

Joshua was born in May 2006 in the greater Toronto area of Ontario, Canada where he had lived for most of his life. He is the furbaby of Peter (papa) and Lisa (mom) but may very well be the head of their family. Together, they currently reside in Glendora, California.

Joshua is addressed by many names including Josh, Joshie, and JJ. He is also known as the Runt in a game called "Spot the Runt" (STR). As well as helping to launch a game, Josh has worked at a few jobs and even went to school.

His past work experiences include a position in technology with Peter, and as a therapy dog in Lisa's massage practice. Though he has recently been considering returning to work with Peter, Josh can be found enjoying his retirement these days - often hiking, mouse-hunting, or sunbathing on his balcony. He also never misses his daily massage sessions with Lisa.

Josh's lifestyle is one that centers around optimal health. At a young age, he was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and collapsed trachea, resulting in a chronic cough. In support of this, his family provides him with a diet that's as varied as it is balanced (raw, paleo), and with alternative therapies such as osteopathy and acupuncture.

Using the general 80/20 guide, Josh is also susceptible to temptation. This includes family members who want to spoil him and who fall prey to his begging eyes. Falling into temptation doesn't exclude his guilty pleasures also. From time to time, he has been caught snacking on such delicacies as dung, poo, and feces...of the imported kind (his own defecation seems to be too good for him). The family is currently seeking to impose a tariff on this blatant display of coprophagia.

Josh is indeed a dog; A half-chihuahua and half-jack-russell. His character can't be so easily categorized however - opposite of his stature, he exudes a large presence. While unassumingly being himself, Josh brings smiles to family, friends, and strangers alike.
